On October 1, 2017, the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) started its activity. Its main task is to initiate and implement activities supporting international academic exchange and the process of internationalisation of Polish universities and research institutions, disseminate information about the Polish system of higher education and science and disseminate the Polish language abroad.

The offer of the NAWA programs is addressed to researchers, students and PhD candidates, Polish and foreign citizens, as well as universities, scientific institutions of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Polish research institutes.
