Students who come to study at Lodz University of Technology for a semester or a full academic year within exchange programmes can select the courses from various study programmes from both study cycles (BSc and MSc) to compose his/her own individual schedule:

To maintain high quality of studying, students can select courses of at least 20 ECTS points/semester. 40 ECTS points is the maximum to be scored in one semester.
Final project
Final Project can be realized on two levels of studies:

BSc (the thesis for 15 ECTS points),
-
MSc (the thesis for 20 ECTS points).
Students declare they would like to complete the Final Project by selecting it in the Learning Agreement. At the beginning of each semester students receive all the necessary information and contacts to the project coordinators are provided.
European project semester (EPS)
European Project Semester is a specially designed programme for teams of both international and Polish students.
At Lodz University of Technology, within the framework of EPS, technological projects of a strong interdisciplinary character (selected from suggestions submitted by the university professors) are realized. The project is intended to address the needs of students from foreign universities who study at Lodz University of Technology within the framework of the exchange programme.

Research and Development Project
Students can conduct research within a chosen area under the supervision of one of TUL's professors or be a part of the research team during their semester in Lodz. The Research and Development Projects are worth 30 ECTS points. Before choosing the project, students should contact the Student Mobility Division in order to find out if there would be a suitable supervisor or research team available in the desired area of research.

Problem based learning (PBL)
PBL (Problem Based Learning) is a method of gaining knowledge and competencies in a specific field by solving a real problem. Students shape and develop their skills in solving problems in a more independent and innovative manner compared to methods offered by traditional university studies. Students work in groups of four or five and cooperate towards the solution of a specific problem. Each group has a separate tutor, who supports students in the process of learning.
Your home university should notify the Student Mobility Division of the International Cooperation Centre (ICC) about your arrival so that we can inform you about the exchange programme enrolment procedure.
To enroll at TUL, students should be nominated by home university.
Application takes place twice a year and you can choose to spend either a full academic year or one semester with us.
A set of application documents should contain:
- Application Form (printed from an online application and signed by the Home University),
- Learning Agreement with a list of courses to be realized at TUL (printed from an online application and signed by the Home University),
- Online Learning Agreement (OLA) or LA from your University (remember it has to be 100% identical with mobility version)
- Transcript of Records (issued by the Home University),
- Your current photo (passport-size) which must be in compliance with the requirements for the issuance of an ID card,
- Copy of your ID card or passport,
- Copy of your health insurance card valid in Poland for your entire stay,
- Copy of your civil liability insurance and personal accident insurance cards valid in Poland for your entire stay.
31 July – final date for submitting application documents if you apply for the winter semester or the entire academic year.
30 November – final date for submitting application documents if you apply for the summer semester.
Copies of health insurance, civil liability insurance, and personal accident insurance cards can be sent at a later date.
