We are pleased to invite you to take part in a new initiative implemented at Lodz University of Technology – #FacesOfTUL, a cycle carried out within the project TUL Welcomes Beyond Borders. The aim of this initiative is to show that international students and staff members are an important and integral part of our academic community and to present your experiences, perspectives and stories to the entire TUL community.
We are excited to share that the project has been recognised by the Polish National Agency of Erasmus+ Programme as an example of good practice and highlighted as a source of inspiration for other institutions in Poland and across Europe.
On 22 April 2026, our university showcased two Erasmus+ projects - #edu4SDGs and ACE - as best practices during a local Erasmus+ networking workshop organised by InnHub Łódź in Łódź.
On 14–16 April 2026, the partners of the Erasmus+ #edu4sdgs project met in Münster, Germany, for a three-day transnational progress meeting and training hosted at the ACEEU office. Representatives of all partner institutions took part, confirming strong commitment and close cooperation within the consortium.

The latest results of the prestigious QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 have been published, and Lodz University of Technology (TUL) has once again confirmed its strong and stable position on the international stage. This year, TUL was ranked in five subjects.
Lodz University of Technology has secured funding for two projects under the NAWA Welcome to Poland 2025 programme, aimed at further strengthening the university’s capacity in internationalisation and the comprehensive support of the international community.
The latest results of the international SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR) 2026 have been published. In this year’s edition, TUL recorded a significant improvement, reaching 1,075th place worldwide, which marks an advance of 133 positions compared to the previous year. In the Region Ranking – Eastern Europe, the university ranked 39th (up from 47th place) among 511 universities.
