On 15–16 June 2026, the Franco-Polish Symposium is taking place, dedicated to academic cooperation and support for international students. The second day of the event is hosted by the International Cooperation Centre of Lodz University of Technology. The symposium is organised by the Embassy of France in Poland, Campus France, and the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), in cooperation with the French Institute in Warsaw, Lodz University of Technology, and the SGH Warsaw School of Economics.

From 4 to 8 May, Lodz University of Technology hosted a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) implemented within the framework of the JUMP project - Joint University challenge‑based Minor Program for future generation of innovative entrepreneurs. The programme gathered students and academic staff from Poland and ECIU partner universities, creating an international environment for cooperation and exchange.

On 14–16 April 2026, the partners of the Erasmus+ #edu4sdgs project met in Münster, Germany, for a three-day transnational progress meeting and training hosted at the ACEEU office. Representatives of all partner institutions took part, confirming strong commitment and close cooperation within the consortium.

The latest results of the international SCImago Institutions Rankings (SIR) 2026 have been published. In this year’s edition, TUL recorded a significant improvement, reaching 1,075th place worldwide, which marks an advance of 133 positions compared to the previous year. In the Region Ranking – Eastern Europe, the university ranked 39th (up from 47th place) among 511 universities.
