
This year, 2,526 universities from 130 countries submitted entries to the ranking, with 2,318 ultimately classified. For the fourth consecutive year, Western Sydney University (Australia) topped the global list.
As in the previous edition, 25 Polish universities were included in the final ranking. The highest-ranked ones were Gdańsk University of Technology and University of Gdańsk, both placed between 301 and 400. TUL was ranked among the TOP 9 universities in Poland. The university achieved its highest score in SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, placing within the 201–300 range, jointly securing second place nationally alongside Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences.
Additionally, TUL was recognized in several other Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including: SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, SDG 5: Gender Equality, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
THE Impact Rankings consider the contribution of HEIs to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which form the core of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. By performing strongly across a range of SDGs, participating universities demonstrate their commitment to addressing some of the world's most pressing challenges, from environmental sustainability and social inclusion to economic growth and global partnerships.
