The event brought together students of the International Faculty of Engineering (IFE) from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Faculty of Organisation and Management at Lodz University of Technology, as well as participants from partner institutions: University of Trento, Dublin City University, Tampere University, University of Aveiro, and Hamburg University of Technology.
A key element of the programme was the implementation of a real‑life challenge developed in cooperation with Krotoski Group. The challenge was carried out as part of a new learning pathway developed as part of the JUMP project. This pathway is based on the Challenge‑Based Learning (CBL) methodology and focuses on combining innovative business concepts with issues related to sustainability.
The activities were jointly delivered by Robert Blażlak from Lodz University of Technology together with Rebecca Coles and Paul Scanlan from INSA Toulouse, providing participants with an international teaching perspective and an opportunity to exchange experience in modern educational methods and cooperation with the business environment.
The programme enabled students to gain practical experience in teamwork while addressing a real business challenge and strengthened cooperation between partner universities and the economic sector.
