During the event, participants took the audience on a journey through their countries and cultures, presenting not only their universities but also their traditions and everyday life. The programme was enriched with performances and showcases – from martial arts demonstrations to live music. Particularly memorable was the traditional attire of a student from Papua New Guinea, which became one of the highlights of the day.
The afternoon workshops allowed participants to experience cultures first-hand – from face painting and henna decoration to creating traditional Łowicz paper cut-outs.
Throughout the day, visitors could explore a variety of international flavours, while the atmosphere was filled with music, conversations, and spontaneous interactions. The event concluded with a shared polonaise dance, symbolically bringing together participants from three continents.
EUREKA Cultural Day demonstrated that global experience begins here and now – through meeting others, openness, and collaboration.
The EUREKA project is implemented under the SPINAKER programme financed from the European Fund for Social Development 2021-2027 (FERS) as part of the NAWA project entitled "Support for the creation and implementation of international education programs", project number FERS.01.05-IP.08-0436/23.
