Organized by the International Cooperation Centre of Lodz University of Technology, the initiative continues the idea of Mobility Week and for several years has shown that mobility is not only about studying or working abroad, but also about building an open and multicultural academic community.
This year’s edition will traditionally be held in Bishop Michał Klepacz Park on Campus B of Lodz University of Technology. The programme includes both integration activities and opportunities to learn more about mobility offers available for students and university staff. Participants can look forward to information stands dedicated to Erasmus+ and ECIU University programmes, an international food corner featuring dishes from around the world, outdoor games and activities, open-air yoga sessions, and a chill-out zone. There will also be hot dogs and Italian ice cream available for the symbolic price of 1 PLN.
Mobility Picnic is an event that attracts more and more participants every year and reflects the dynamic internationalisation of Lodz University of Technology. In recent years, the university has observed a steady increase in interest in mobility opportunities among both students and staff members. Erasmus+ exchanges, as well as short-term mobilities organised in cooperation with ECIU University partners, are becoming increasingly popular.
Today, Lodz University of Technology is an international community created by students, employees, and partners from all over the world. Mobility Picnic offers a chance to meet outside lecture halls, get to know people from different cultures, exchange mobility experiences, and simply spend time together in an open and friendly atmosphere.
