Thanks to the allocated funds of over EUR 240,000, it will be possible to carry out exchanges with partner universities in 16 countries. The project includes institutions from Argentina, Honduras, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, El Salvador, South Africa, Ukraine, the United States and Uzbekistan. Newly established partnerships include universities from Ethiopia, Taiwan, Oman, Papua New Guinea and Nigeria.
Under the project, students and doctoral candidates may spend one semester studying at a selected partner university. Academic and administrative staff are offered one-week teaching or training mobility opportunities. These mobilities provide an excellent chance to share experiences, build valuable relationships and strengthen international cooperation. The bilateral nature of the programme also makes it possible to invite distinguished academics to deliver lectures, workshops or training sessions using modern educational methods.
Currently Erasmus+ KA171 projects with non-EU countries launched under the 2023 and 2024 calls are also underway. The mobility activities completed so far have contributed to the development of educational and research collaboration, as well as the implementation of joint initiatives with academic institutions in partner countries.
We hope that the new edition of the Erasmus+ programme for 2025–2028 will bring many international initiatives.
