The latest results of the prestigious QS World University Rankings 2027 were published. Despite increasing competition, Lodz University of Technology was once again placed in the 1001–1200 range.

The newest edition of the QS WUR 2027 ranking includes 1,504 universities from over 100 countries, including 94 institutions making their debut. Similar to last year, the top positions are held by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Imperial College London, and Stanford University.

The ranking also features 20 universities from Poland. The highest-ranked institutions in the country are the University of Warsaw, Jagiellonian University, and Warsaw University of Technology.

At the global level, Lodz University of Technology achieved its highest score in the Faculty Student Ratio indicator (the ratio of students to academic staff), ranking 334th worldwide and 6th in Poland.

The methodology of QS ranking considers indicators grouped into five broad categories: research, employability, learning experience, global engagement (internationalization), and sustainability.
