The ECIU Educational Cooperation Group (EduCo) invites academic and professional staff to participate in the EduCo Annual Networking Event 2026, dedicated to supporting the development of high-quality Erasmus+ Key Action 2 (KA2) project proposals.

Why participate?

The Erasmus+ programme, one of the European Union's most successful initiatives, has supported international cooperation in education, training, youth, and sport for more than 35 years. Through Key Action 2 (KA2), organizations can obtain funding for transnational and international cooperation projects.

The EduCo networking event aims to:

•    Raise awareness of opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ KA2 programme.
•    Support the development of strong project proposals with ECIU partner institutions.
•    Facilitate consortium building and partner matching.
•    Provide guidance throughout the proposal preparation process.

Who should attend?

This event is particularly relevant if:
•    You have a project idea but are unsure which Erasmus+ call is most suitable.
•    You are looking for international partners for your consortium.
•    You are not yet familiar with Erasmus+ opportunities and funding schemes.
•    You would like support in developing a project proposal.
•    You are interested in joining an Erasmus+ consortium as a project partner, even if you do not have your own project idea.

What to expect?

During the online event, participants will have the opportunity to:
•    Present project concepts in dedicated breakout rooms.
•    Discuss ideas with colleagues from across the ECIU network.
•    Identify potential consortium partners.
•    Receive feedback and recommendations from experienced facilitators.
Those who do not wish to present their own ideas are welcome to participate as potential partners for projects presented during the event.

How to submit your project idea

Staff members who would like their project concept to be featured during the networking event should:
1.    Submit their project idea through the dedicated online form by 26 October 2026.
2.    Prepare a short presentation using the template provided by the organizers if the proposal is selected.
3.    Present their idea during the networking event on 25 November 2026 (10:30-13:00 CET).

Important information

•    Project ideas may relate to any Erasmus+ KA2 action.
•    Selected presenters will lead breakout-room discussions with support from facilitators from the ECIU EduCo Group.
•    The breakout sessions will serve as an opportunity to attract consortium partners and refine project concepts.
•    Project teams that decide to proceed after the event will receive support from EduCo members throughout the proposal development process until submission.

How to participate as a partner

If you would like to join the event as a participant:
1.    Wait for the publication of the detailed programme, which will be shared with all ECIU partner institutions after the project ideas have been selected.
2.    Register for the event through the participant registration form.
Registration is expected to be open from 2 November to 20 November 2026.
