The 1st edition of Mobility Picnic at Lodz University of Technology is behind us.

We would like to thank all TUL employees and students for coming in crowds.

Sun, delicious food, sport, fun and, above all, lots of conversations about the international opportunities offered to all of us by our university and its partners. All this in the beautiful Klepacz Park.

We hope that we will see each other during second edition next year, in an even larger group, to meet interesting people who we often pass in a hurry on our campus.

The picnic, which was fully financed from the EU budget under the Erasmus+ programme, was opened by the director of ICC TUL and coordinator of the Erasmus+ programme at our university, Dr Eng. Dorota Piotrowska, TUL prof.

International Cooperation Centre of Lodz University of Technology informs about the possibility of breach of personal data protection in connection with the possibility of access to unauthorized persons to the email address sao@info.p.lodz.pl

International Cooperation Centre of Lodz University of Technology informs about the possibility of breach of personal data protection in connection with the possibility of access to unauthorized persons to information stored on the email address sao@info.p.lodz.pl

For this reason, students and employees of Lodz University of Technology, especially those communicating through the email address sao@info.p.lodz.pl are advised to be vigilant and cautious, including if one has a PESEL registration number setting up an account in the credit and business information system to monitor possible credit activity and ignoring unexpected messages urging any additional actions.

Unauthorized persons who gained access to the sao@info.p.lodz.pl mailbox could theoretically retrieve phone numbers and e-mail addresses, and may try to use them to steal money using popular methods, such as "a pending package delivery" or "planned electricity shutdown."

In addition, potentially there is the possibility of identity theft, however, at this point there is no evidence that unauthorized persons have obtained personal information of students and university employees.

For additional questions and information regarding the breach of data protection stored at sao@info.p.lodz.pl, the Data Protection Officer of Lodz University of Technology can be contacted at phone number: 41 631 20 39 or iod@adm.p.lodz.pl

On 10th April the results of the latest edition of the prestigious QS by Subject Ranking were released. For the second time Lodz University of Technology was distinguished and it was ranked in four subjects.

In Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing Engineering TUL noted a significant progress and it was classified in the 351-400 range. In Chemical Engineering only 5 Polish HEIs were ranked, including TUL (401-430). In Materials Science our university was ranked in the 401-420 range and in Chemistry – between 601 and 650.

The 2024 edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject features 55 individual subjects across five broad subject areas. A total of nearly 1,600 educational institutions from 149 countries were ranked. The ranking considers five indicators - two reputation indicators (academic reputation and employer reputation), two bibliometric indicators (research citations per paper, H-index) and IRN-index, an indicator reflecting the university's ability to diversify the geography of their international research network by establishing sustainable research partnerships with other higher education institutions.
