The Education Programme is based on an intergovernmental agreement on the implementation of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021, concluded between Iceland, the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Poland.
As part of Component II, Lodz University of Technology received funding for the following activities:
- Mobility of academic teachers between Polish and Donor State universities in order to run classes. During one week of stay, a minimum of 8 hours of classes for the partner university should be conducted.
- Mobility of employees between universities in order to participate in "job shadowing" trips, in seminars, trainings, workshops and conferences improving skills and broadening knowledge in a given field.
The programme will run from 1 July 2020 to the end of September 2022.
The scholarship for the maintenance of participants coming from Donor States to Poland is 150€ per day.
The amount of the travel scholarship depends on the distance between the place of departure and the destination. To calculate the distance, use the calculator available on the European Commission's website: http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/tools/distance_en.htm
Staff mobility was preceded by the signing of interinstitutional partnership agreements between universities.
