ENSEM-University of Lorraine zaprasza pracowników Politechniki Łódzkiej na International Staff Week.

We are pleased to invite you to the First International Staff Week organized by Lorraine INP, the department of the Engineering Schools of the Université de Lorraine.
The goal of this staff week is to create a discussion about perspectives on teaching and learning in higher engineering education and to share experiences and best practices on
international partnership.
Location:
Our Staff Week will take place in Nancy, France, at the Université de Lorraine, 34 Cours Léopold 54000 Nancy.
Contents:
During this Staff Week, you will meet your international partners, attend conferences and workshops and visit French Engineering Schools (Post Graduate Schools) and cultural places of Lorraine.

Pre-registration deadline: March 31st, 2020

Registration Fee for Early Birds (before February 15th 2020): 200 euros
Registration Fee from February 16th 2020 to March 31st 2020: 250 euros
Participants will cover their own travel costs, accommodation and personal expenses.
Lorraine INP will invite you to the welcome cocktail and farewell diner and will provide for coffee breaks and 3 lunches, and transport in Nancy, Metz and Epinal.

Maximum number of participants: 50
Please note that there has to be a minimum number of participants for the staff week to take place.
Shortly after the application deadline, you will receive a confirmation email and further information on payment terms. You will also receive an application form to choose the workshops you wish to attend to as well as the French Engineering Schools you would like to visit.

Invitation to a Training Week about Sustainable Development and Innovation at Université Catholique de Lille (6-10 April 2020)

In order to open our activities to other international initiatives, we would like to invite 10 colleagues from our Erasmus+ partner universities to join our Training Week about “Sustainable Development” and “Innovation”. Please find below all practical information:

6 to 10 April 2020

Who?

Colleagues from partner universities of Université Catholique de Lille, involved in sustainable development and/or innovation projects at the home university. 10 places available.

Where?

What for?

Mornings = Innovation (visit of labs and facilities, presentation of innovative teaching techniques and specific trainings to foster innovation amongst students and professionals; meeting with counterparts);

Afternoons = Sustainable Development (presentation of UCL’s project for a 0-carbone campus; visit of eco-friendly buildings; meeting with counterparts; presentation of interaction with local partners and student participation; financing such projects; integration of this topic in students’ programs)

Networking

How to apply?

Candidates send to their Erasmus coordinator CV and/or description of their project in link with sustainable development and/or innovation.

The Erasmus+ coordinator at the home institution nominates 1 candidate to erasmus@univ-catholille.fr before 30 January 2020.

A selection committee will take place in early February based on the main topics of the week. We will then confirm selected applicants.

Cost:

UCL will cover tuition fees + 3 meals included in the program.

Participants will cover transportation, accommodation, other meals and other expenses.

Administration fees: 100€.

This week is eligible to Erasmus+ STT funding (training for staff).

Metropolia University of Applied Sciences zaprasza pracowników administracyjnych na 10th international week.

 

Metropolia University of Applied Sciences will organise its 10th international week for non-teaching staff on June 8 - 10, 2020. The theme for this year is The Role of Services in Building the Path Through Higher Education.

This year we will invite colleagues from our partner institutions who work in the following support services: IT, library and information services, student wellbeing, strategy, and immigrant support (SIMHE at Metropolia). We would appreciate if you could spread the word at your institution. This year there will be no specific programme for international relations officers.

In addition to participating in the organised programme, there will be a chance to benchmark and network with colleagues from all around the world, as well as to discover the beautiful Helsinki Metropolitan area.

We will send you more information concerning the programme and practical arrangements, together with an application form during February 2020. We are inviting a maximum of 30 colleagues, preferably 1-2 persons per partner institution.

Polytechnic of Coimbra zaprasza partnerów do wzięcia udziału w Erasmus+ Global Week 2020.

 

I would like to inform you that the registration  of  Erasmus+ Global Week 2020 organised by the Polytechnic of Coimbra is now open.

This year the week is dedicated the topic – “Erasmus+ Outside Europe – moving further”, and the agenda of the week will include:

    International Conference -  “Erasmus+ Outside Europe – moving further”
    International Credit Mobility (ICM) Project Meeting – planning and monitoring
    Workshops – Best practices and project dissemination
    Cultural programme

The main purpose of the Global Week is to widen and strengthen the cooperation with our partner institutions, to share different experiences on internationalization, to facilitate networking and to establish new partnerships. The participants will have the opportunity to learn from experiences and good practices of partner institutions ICM and Capacity Buildings (CBHE) projects and to explore and discuss special topics of interest within the field of internationalization.

The programme will cover an international conference for all the participants, workshops for staff, lectures for academics, an international fair and cultural activities.

All the participants can attend the activities and the cultural programme and will  benefit from an intense  networking among partners from European and non-European countries.

"Observation week " z udziałem trenerów z renomowanej uczelni University College London oraz nauczycieli akademickich PŁ zaangażowanych we współpracę w projekcie „Mistrzowie dydaktyki” zostało zorganizowane w naszej uczelni przez MNiSW z udziałem CWM w dniach 6 - 7 listopada 2019. Gośćmi PŁ byli Eksperci z UCL - Clare Bentall i Harriet Harper oraz Aneta Radaczyńska -  Ekspert z MNiSW. Motywem wiodącym wydarzenia były innowacyjne metody pracy realizowane w szkolnictwie wyższym, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem metody tutoringu. Podczas wizyty odbyły się obserwacje zajęć ze studentami, spotkania i prezentacje oraz  konferencja inauguracyjna nowego projektu PŁ Erasmus+ pod nazwą „Transdisciplinary Methodology for Integrated Design in Higher Education” HIGH5. Zrealizowano spotkanie uczestników pierwszej edycji projektu MD, którzy odbyli szkolenie podczas wizyty studyjnej w Londynie oraz naszych gości z dyrektor CWM dr inż. Dorotą Piotrowską, prof. PŁ podczas videokonferencji on-line, która była okazją do rozmowy na temat dalszej współpracy oraz wymiany poglądów na temat wprowadzanego w naszej uczelni modelu edukacji odwróconej - „flipped education”. Podczas „Observation week” Eksperci z Wielkiej Brytanii mieli możliwość udziału w zajęciach ze studentami prowadzonych przez Mistrzów dydaktyki PŁ. Wszystkie inicjatywy, w których wzięli udział zaproszeni goście miały na celu prezentację potencjału akademickiego Politechniki Łódzkiej oraz wymianę doświadczeń na polu implementowania nowoczesnych form pracy dydaktycznej ze studentami. Wydarzenie "Observation week" było okazją do zaprezentowania ciekawej infrastruktury naszej Uczelni z udziałem Mistrzów dydaktyki PŁ: Jacek Kabziński, Dorota Kamińska, Anetta Kępczyńska-Walczak, Monika Kosmala, Monika Malinowska – Olszowy, Iwona Wróblewska, Katarzyna Zimna, którzy w ramach projektu "Mistrzowie dydaktyki" uczestniczyli w wizycie studyjnej w UCL w Londynie w maju br.

As usual the 14th International Week will combine an International Staff Program and an International Lecture Program.

 

Each participant can choose to participate in the International Staff Program and/ or participate in the International Lecture Program.

INTERNATIONAL LECTURE PROGRAM

Invited Professors and Lecturers from our partner universities and others, have to submit proposals for lectures or workshops.

Every participating lecturer will be assigned to a host professor at Universidade Europeia, IPAM Lisboa or IPAM Porto. We hope this will provide extra opportunities for sharing best practices and collaborating on future projects.

à It is mandatory to send Abstract and Curriculum Vitae by email;

à All the lectures must be taught in Portuguese or English;

à All the lectures should be approved by our academic board;

The International Lecture Program will take place from Tuesday to Friday. Each participant should give 4h hours of Lectures or workshops to our students, according the themes approved and schedules proposed. All the lectures are invited to participate in a research meeting.

 

In this edition, the theme is:  INNOVATION IN A GLOBAL WORLD

 

The impact of globalization is deeply affecting how innovation is managed in the educational area and on companies. This year, our international week will bring to the table subjects like: how globalization is changing dynamics in education, businesses and society and the resultant implications for innovation at different levels.

We invite you to come and share your experience and expertise in the 14th edition of our International Week, to be held in March 2020 in the cities of Lisbon and Oporto.

We welcome proposals that address issues related to, but not limited to the general theme.

The 8th edition of Linnaeus University International Staff Training will take place during May 11th - 15th, 2020 in the cities of Växjö and Kalmar, the two campuses of Linnaeus University in Sweden.

The week will offer both faculty and staff opportunities to learn and share about competencies, skills and tools required for working in intercultural environments within higher education. Staff training and professional development will take place through various workshops with both international participants as well as staff and faculty from Linnaeus University, and through job-shadowing colleagues at Linnaeus University.

Dostoyevsky Omsk State University zaprasza studentów PŁ do udziału w Russian Language Winter School!

Russian Language Winter School "Discover Siberia" in February is a 2-week intensive program that aims to provide students with the opportunity to learn and/or practice Russian, and explore what Siberia has to offer. 

Course Fees: 30 000 RUB (approx. 423 €/467 $). 

Upon the completion of the program, students will get the Russian Language School Certificate (4 ECTS). 

Russian Language classes are taught by experienced language teaching professionals (teachers of Russian as a Foreign Language) and follow a communicative approach to language teaching. In addition to in-class Russian language instruction, students will attend interactive lectures of cultural and academic interest. 

An extensive social and cultural program is designed to help participants gain a valuable overview of Russian culture based on local Siberian heritage. On the weekdays, participants will explore Omsk city and its museums, theaters, galleries and attractions and on the weekend, they will take trips to the places of historical and cultural significance of Omsk Region which will give them a great opportunity to truly experience peace and quiet of a snowy Siberian landscape in its most pristine beauty.
